Will has over 25 years of experience across investment banking (Merrill Lynch), private equity investing (Englefield Capital & Bregal Capital, and now RIC), corporate management, project finance & project development.
For well over 20 years he has been focused on the renewables and environmental services sectors, including energy-from-waste, carbon products, waste management, recycling, wind, biomass, battery energy storage and more recently renewable heat.
STEFAN SCHMITZ
Partner
Stefan has been drafting and structuring project finance contracts and funding solutions right across all major verticlas within the renewables sector for over 25 years, following his early career as a project finance lawyer (latterly a partner at Reed Smith LLP, London). As a result, he contributes a wealth of experience and contacts with strong origination credentials.
GEORGE HUTCHINSON
Associate
George initially joined RIC as an MBA intern. Having completed his MBA at IESE Business School in Barcelona during summer 2025 he subsequently joined RIC in a full time role.
George is a Chartered Accountant by background, spending 4 years with Deloitte in London. Following this he had 4 years experience in Investment Management, with a focus on renewables (C&I solar and BESS) and UK energy markets including C&I solar and BESS deployment.
